Mark trained at DeMontfort University and Bath University. He joined Allies and Morrison in 2001 and became a Director of the practice in 2010.
Mark is responsible for technical quality of all projects and provides knowledge transfer, research and support on building envelope, sustainability, materials and process. He also coordinates Continuing Professional Development across the practice, as well as providing advice on all technical issues to ensure the ongoing quality of Allies and Morrison’s built work.
Mark’s experience in the field of construction technology has been enriched by a career which includes main contracting and building surveying, as well as a Masters degree in Facade Engineering from the University of Bath. His work includes the development of residential and government buildings in Qatar, and Ash Court at Girton College, Cambridge.
Mark regularly contributes to the industry through his work in the steering committee of the Society of Facade Engineering and through teaching, lecturing and working on various industry research councils.
