Swindon Town Centre Masterplan

View all projects

Prepared in collaboration with key businesses and community stakeholders in Swindon, this masterplan helped set out a clear vision for the regeneration of Swindon’s town centre through a series of engagement events. The masterplan proposes a culture-led approach to regeneration, focused on the delivery of a new art gallery to display the Council’s exceptional collection of modern art, which will diversify the town centre’s offer. This is supported by proposals for new evening and leisure uses, new housing, improved green links and the restoration of important historic buildings to create place which people wish to visit in the day and evening.
