The first new town in Ireland since the 1960s, Adamstown is 16km west of Dublin. In 2018 we produced a high-level masterplan for a 14.2ha site within the settlement, followed by detailed planning applications for masterplans for a residential quarter at St Helen’s (Phase 2), and a Town Centre masterplan. We are currently delivering over 600 new homes across several phases. The heart of the scheme consists of a legible grid of houses at orthogonal arrangements. An introduction of varying typologies unlocks a tighter urban grain, with buildings surrounding the perimeter at four to five stories.
