Trumpington Meadows

View all projects

One of the fastest growing cities in Europe, Cambridge is responding to an acute housing shortage. Trumpington Meadows is helping to meet this need by providing hundreds of new homes on the southern fringes of the city. The size of the houses, the scale of the streets, and densities work together to create a walkable place. The project delivers a diversity of housing ranging from one-bed apartments to generous five-bedroom detached houses across subtly distinct character areas with the most recently completed providing a town centre and the most urban style of accommodation. A humbleness in scale and a limited palette of local materials nod to the local vernacular.
