Gothenburg Arena Quarter

In collaboration with White Arkitekter, we have been selected to create a new hub for culture and entertainment on a special canal-side site in the centre of Gothenburg. The Swedish maritime city’s Arena Quarter will play a central role in shaping the identity of Gothenburg itself providing an urban axis with two squares and a generous park framed by new city blocks. We will be designing a multipurpose quarter that will comprise of a large multi-purpose arena, a second smaller venue, a public route leading to a roof top park, training rink, logistics and service facilities, a hotel as well as an arcade of shops and restaurants. The project was awarded following an international design competition in late 2025.
