Future Shoreditch

View all projects

Shoreditch is one of London's most vibrant neighbourhoods and is a well-established hotspot for the capital's creative and nightlife with an international reputation as a trendsetter. In consultation with local traders, employers, residents and visitors, our work supported Hackney Council's development of an Area Action Plan (AAP) setting out a vision of what Shoreditch will look like in the 2030s. Recognising that the area's success is owed to the flexibility and adaptability of its rich stock of historic buildings and the diversity of its local community, the proposals aim to preserve these qualities while accommodating growth in sustainable ways.
