Trafford Wharfside

View all projects

Anchored by world-class sporting and cultural institutions and served by an improved public transport network, our strategic masterplan for Trafford Wharfside sets the vision for an integrated, high-quality and diverse collection of neighbourhoods. Thriving communities will be connected by ecologically rich blue and green infrastructure, transforming the proud industrial legacy of Greater Manchester into a powerful new economic engine. With a new stadium for Manchester United FC at its heart, proposals include scope for 15,000 new homes across a mix of types and tenures, and 48,000 local jobs over the next decade and beyond, with the potential to offer a £7.3bn per annum boost to the UK economy.
