Rochester Riverside Masterplan and Development Brief SPD

View all projects

This new neighbourhood draws precedent from successful historic parts of Rochester. Although contemporary in design, the Development Brief promotes a traditional approach to urban form in terms of legible streets and well-designed houses and non-residential buildings. The area will also benefit from a range of new parks and public spaces, an accessible waterfront, and the delivery of a new primary school, local shops and community facilities. The SPD formed the basis for the procurement of a development partner for the site, with the first phases of development already complete.
