Brooklands is a new workplace campus in Cambridge, containing the city’s first major Net Zero Carbon office building. Two buildings B1 and B2, frame a central garden courtyard linked by a colonnade, forming a new route and lending a collegiate character. Achieving an EPC rating of A+ and surpassing the 2025 RIBA Climate Challenge and LETI 2030 space heating and cooling targets, the buildings are designed to high fabric performance standards, maximising solar collection with roof PVs and integrating air source heat pumps. Siemens Digital Industries Software is one of the first tenants to move in, having pre-let 40% of the space.
