Andrew Dean

Director

As a key member of our technical team, Andrew is involved with projects across the spectrum of the practice's portfolio and has a particular expertise in tackling the technical challenges where existing buildings and new combine. He is a registered RIBA Principal Designer.

Andrew led the project to expand Allies and Morrison's offices on Southwark Street, which combined the extensive refurbishment of a listed Victorian warehouse and the construction of a new CLT extension. He was a key member of our team delivering the NM Rothschild Bank, a highly bespoke and technically complex headquarters scheme in the City of London, shortlisted for the Stirling Prize in 2012.

Previously Andrew worked as project architect for the Royal Observatory Greenwich on which he played a key role in the design of the bronze cone that forms the centrepiece of the project, and on the Faculty of English, Cambridge; a bespoke faculty building that include teaching, seminar, library and office space.

More recently he completed Two Fifty One, a 41 storey residential tower and adjacent office building that was largely constructed of prefabricated elements.

Andrew trained at Manchester Metropolitan University.
