Alice Strang

Alice is motivated by the opportunity to make places better and has a keen interest in how the planning profession can enhance the existing character and identity of town-centres. She is a regular contributor to the quarterly Urban Design Journal and as an RTPI Ambassador, works with groups of all ages to discuss and inspire interest in careers in the built environment. Her experience ranges from supplementary planning documents to smaller scale site briefs and masterplanning through to characterisation studies, visioning publications and research projects.

A chartered town planner, Alice has a degree in geography from Durham University and post graduate qualifications in urban design and planning.
