/ Experiencing Density: Report launch

What is life like in London's new high density housing?

by Bob Allies

Bob Allies joined a panel at LSE Cities to launch the report 'Experiencing Density: Life in London's New High Density Housing'.

As new towers, mansion blocks and developments sprout up across the capital, there has been little research into how residents feel. Since 2016, a team of LSE researchers has been investigating how residents experience living in high-density housing.

At the report launch event, the researchers presented their findings, followed by a panel discussion and debate with Bob, Kath Scanlon (Distinguished Policy Fellow, LSE London), Loretta Lees (Professor of Human Geography, University of Leicester) and Sripriya Sudhakar (Head of Regeneration, LB Tower Hamlets). The panel was chaired by Ricky Burdett (Director, LSE Cities).
