Katerina Mathioudaki

Director

Katerina has worked on a broad range of projects at the practice from housing and healthcare to hospitality, and cultural to commercial. She has experience of all work stages, from conception to completion on site. A strong designer, both well organised and strategic, she enjoys project delivery, working with clients and leading design teams.

Katerina’s portfolio includes leadership of the Rosie Maternity Hospital in Cambridge, part of our wider masterplan for the university’s Addenbrooke’s site. She was a key architect responsible for the delivery of Chelsea College of Art’s new home in a former Edwardian hospital at Millbank, and worked to refurbish and expand the Grade II-listed Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter. At the Olympic Park, she worked alongside artists to incorporate artwork into a number of bridges and underpasses. She was involved in the South Hampstead Synagogue and has led hotel schemes in London.

Most recently Katerina has delivered Gateway Central, a new commercial building at White City; Kelso Cochrane House, a new housing scheme for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea; and in a compliance monitoring role, Bloom in Nine Elms, our largest PRS scheme to date.

Katerina grew up on a small Greek island and trained at the University of Bath. She is a member of our Housing Group and the Wandsworth Design Review Panel.
