Helena Gomes

Associate Director

Helena has contributed to an impressive repertoire of projects that include housing, commercial projects, masterplans and infrastructure.

She has worked on a series of masterplans, establishing a sustainable development framework for future growth at Greenwich Peninsula, where she now performs the role of design guardian, and mixed-use proposals introducing higher densities of development on various urban sites in the UK and Canada.

She was project architect for the award-winning headquarters for Banham Group and she was involved in the design and construction of a number of permanent and temporary bridges and infrastructure for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Legacy masterplan.

Helena has led residential projects at Swandon Way in Wandsworth, and for Greenwich masterplan Plot 19.05. An active member of the practice’s Housing Group, she is the of one of our in-house Housing Design Guides and helps the practice to develop efficient processes across our housing projects.

Helena studied architecture at the University of Porto.
