Associate Director, Technical Design

Having originally joined the practice for two years in 1990, Mark returned to Allies and Morrison in 2010 to direct the delivery of the 40 storey tower development at 100 Bishopsgate in the City of London.

In the interim years Mark has gained extensive experience in the detail design and the delivery in the commercial sector and, as well as high-rise residential developments. Subsequently for us, he has directed the delivery of three housing projects in the changing context of east London: Block E of our multi-award winning St Andrew's scheme in Bromley-by-Bow, and Lock Keepers, a mixed-use, residential-led development of 109 units within the Limehouse Cut Conservation Area. Mark also acted as project director for Glasshouse Garden, two residential towers adjacent to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Mark is a member of the practice’s Technical Team. He trained at Birmingham School of Architecture and Canterbury School of Architecture and has been a visiting critic at the University of Leeds and has had his work selected for exhibition at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition
