Manchester ID Plot C
Plot C is the first new element of Manchester's new innovation district to come forward. This sectional model was made to have removable elevations, achieved by incorporating magnets into the model, allowing it to be disassembled or updated when needed. A variety of machines were used to fabricate it, from hand milling, circular saws, laser cutters to RP machines. The parts were all test fitted, then sprayed with a base layer of the stone colour and then sprayed different coloured speckles. This gives the components a more realistic finish - to match the stone samples from the specification documentation.
