Sarah Curran

Associate Director

As comfortable working in a heritage environment as delivering a contemporary residential tower, Sarah’s portfolio of work epitomises the practice’s generalist ethos.

With a keen interest in building conservation, Sarah has worked on some of the practice’s key heritage projects, including a masterplan and refurbishment works for Cliveden House Hotel, a Grade I listed hotel in Berkshire and a Conservation Plan in Bedford Square.

Two Fifty One, a residential tower and adjacent office building posed a different range of challenges. Employing extensive prefabrication, Sarah led the project through detailed design and construction. Sarah played a key role in the delivery of the tallest building within the St Andrew's development and more recently she led a planning application for affordable homes in Hoxton. She is an active member of both our Housing and Conservation Groups and was drawn to the practice’s contextual design approach and well-crafted buildings.

Sarah has completed the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings’ (SPAB) ‘Repair of Old Buildings‘ course, is a RIBA Conservation Registrant and a member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI). Sarah has tutored at the London School of Architecture. She studied architecture at University College Dublin and has previously worked in practice in Dublin.
