Peter graduated with First Class Honours from Newcastle University, and went on to win a scholarship to study for his RIBA Part 2 at the Architectural Association in London, gaining his Diploma in 2013. He joined Allies and Morrison in 2013.
Since joining the practice Peter has worked on a range of building and masterplanning schemes, and a number of competitions for high profile residential and commercial projects, bringing his excellent design and leadership skills to bear during the early competition stages. A talented architect, he thoroughly understands detail, be it plan or section, and thinks strategically.
As project architect, Peter prepared the Reserved Matters application for Two Friargate, a large office building in Coventry within our Friargate masterplan, successfully gaining planning consent in summer 2016. He has also led another office project located on a complicated site at Tokenhouse Yard in a historic area of the City of London. He prepared the detailed design of Building B at Station Hill, Reading and was involved in the masterplan for Cambridge University for the Old Press Mill site in the heart of the town.
Peter is currently working on our Pall Mall project in Liverpool, a masterplan for a new commercial district and the detailed design for one of the area’s new office buildings.
