Kirsty joined Allies and Morrison in 2008, having previously worked for Wandsworth Borough Council where she was Project Manager on the Building Schools for Future programme. She trained at Portsmouth University, UK and the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA obtaining professional registration in 1999.
She has extensive experience from her education projects of working with multiple clients and stakeholders to develop briefs. Kirsty brings enthusiasm to the briefing process developing a good understanding of organisations. She works closely with clients to identify priorities and translate them into design briefs. She also brings experience of developing and delivering projects on site, encouraging collaboration across design disciplines and with contractors to deliver high quality design and the client’s aspirations.
Kirsty has recently submitted a planning application for a mixed-use scheme delivering 573 homes, a supermarket, retail, workspaces, community uses, an urban and a network of public spaces, in Camden. She has led a large team for the masterplan, subsequently joined by two other architectural practices to develop the architecture of the buildings.
