Kirsty Leslie

Associate Director

Kirsty has extensive experience of working with stakeholders, exploring aspirations and identifying priorities. She brings experience of developing and delivering projects on site, encouraging collaboration across design disciplines and with contractors to deliver high quality design.

She is increasingly involved in more complex and urban projects. She led the submission of an application for Camden Goods Yard, successfully securing planning for a mixed-use scheme delivering 573 homes on a compact and historic site.

At Stratford Waterfront, the new cultural quarter at East Bank, Kirsty’s role has been to champion and co-ordinate the masterplan and public realm; working closely with the LLDC and key stakeholders to explore the brief and develop the emerging detailed design. Recently, Kirsty has been leading the team for a new cultural, education and innovation district in Abu Dhabi. The project is a strategic masterplan to regenerate a redundant port with ambitious sustainability goals and a public realm framework that promotes walkability in a hostile climate.

Kirsty studied at Portsmouth University and the University of Cincinnati, travelling extensively and developing an interest in the architects - Eames and Louis Kahn. Before joining us in 2008, she predominantly worked on Education projects delivering buildings within complex campuses and often sensitive settings.
