Greg Holme

Associate Director, Technical Design

Greg is the first to admit that his two areas of architectural predilection and expertise, interiors and bridge design, might seem like an unlikely combination. But they have meant that he has contributed to some of the practice’s most high-profile projects – from the Royal Festival Hall to BBC White City and infrastructure for Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

At the Olympic Park, Greg led the design for numerous bridges and over thirty structures for both the Games and post-Games phases, including permanent and temporary bridges, underpasses, river edge walkways, and public realm landscape elements. Greg has over thirty years’ experience developing the detailed design on a variety of major infrastructure and transport related projects, having developed expertise in the integration of engineering and product design within architecture.

Greg trained at Chelsea School of Art and Bristol Polytechnic. Abbey Mills Pumping Station is his favourite project from the practice’s portfolio as it continues a fine tradition of high-quality industrial buildings. From London, he performs the pedal steel guitar with various London bands.
