Diego studied and trained at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina before moving to the UK in 2014 to complete his MArch in housing and urbanism at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. In May of 2014 Diego joined Allies and Morrison and has since worked on a variety of national and international projects.
Since joining the practice Diego has worked on various masterplans, with a main interest and experience in medium to large-scale, mixed-use regeneration areas. Working across a range different stages, his experience includes outline planning applications, detailing planning applications and the co-ordination of enabling works.
Diego worked on the outline planning applications for the mixed-use masterplans of Canada Water and Greenwich Peninsula. For Greenwich he co-ordinated the design of the public realm for Phase 1 of the masterplan and completed a detailed design study for the Design District at the core of the masterplan. Diego has also worked on a large healthcare campus integrating clinical and urban masterplan for the Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha.
