This year, three of the practice’s recently completed projects have been shortlisted for RIBA Regional Awards. The projects are:

The all-female boarding house Dancy House at Marlborough College as one of fourteen projects shortlisted for RIBA South West. In a recent review, Building Design’s Ike Ijeh described it as ‘the perfect compromise between the school’s rarefied idyll and the practice’s trademark contemporary aesthetic’. On the RIBA South East shortlist is the van Hasselt Centre at Cranleigh School. The new academic building was completed in January 2019 and enhances the School’s commitment to the humanities. Built and reconfigured from existing, disused squash courts, it is an intrinsically sustainable project.

Finally, designed in collaboration between BDP,  Allies and Morrison, Dixon Jones, Panter Hudspith and Glenn Howells Architects, the re-imagined Westgate Centre has made the list for the RIBA South awards. The anticipated renovation and expansion of Oxford’s Westgate Centre is tied together by public areas and integrates different areas of Oxford’s historic city centre.
