Several of the practice’s housing projects in London will be reaching completion and are already welcoming their first residents. These include Keybridge, Lampton Road Phase 1 and Kingsbridge at Gascoigne Estate.

Containing a mix of building typologies – two tall buildings, linear blocks, maisonettes, mansion blocks and even ‘rooftop’ houses, Keybridge provides a welcome contextual response to its setting in Lambeth. The first phase of a new neighbourhood at Lampton Road for Notting Hill Housing is one of London‘s largest affordable housing projects. And in Barking, Kingsbridge introduces two new streets of shared ownership terraces at the south eastern side of the Gascoigne Estate.

At a time when London is seeking to accommodate growth within its existing boundaries, all three housing projects offer different ideas on how to plan and build for these changes while responding to local context.
