The Place
London
The Place is home to the London School of Contemporary Dance and this scheme improves its visibility, accessibility and operation as a choreographic centre.
The first phase of work creates six new dance studios and a striking
triple-height glazed entrance to the dance school. A new box office and renewed public facilities create a more effective public entrance to the existing theatre. Two further dance studios have been added as a second phase, expanding The Place’s artistic development and community contribution.
