PARADISE STREET

Liverpool One

Paradise Street lies in the heart of the Paradise masterplan to complete Liverpool’s retail core. It is located strategically between Lime Street Station and the Albert Dock, between the Rope Walks District and the Pierhead. With a footprint of over a hectare, this urban block contains some 50 shops, 20 cafes and a cinema entrance.

The project is organised around a series of stratified public routes connecting to the surrounding street pattern at a number of levels. It has two distinct sides: the urban edge and the park edge. The two are linked by a route that rises from street to park via a zig-zag shaped stair and covered galleria.
