COLLEGE OF COMMUNICATION

London

Part of a phased regeneration for the University of the Arts London at its Elephant & Castle campus, this project consolidates the London College of Communication onto one site. A new teaching block provides flexible spaces and specialist facilities for the Media School. A new ‘street’ building, which extends to create a triple-height glazed entrance, ties together all of the existing College buildings and provides a central focus for the campus as a whole.

Existing spaces are extensively remodelled and new facilities are designed to accommodate future change. All the main teaching spaces are naturally ventilated, with external louvres and exposed concrete soffits providing cooling.
