WATERSIDE PARK MASTERPLAN

Royal Docks, London

Waterside Park is a residential development for the regeneration of 4.6 hectares of disused land to the north of the Thames Barrier. The masterplan proposal defines a series of seven urban blocks which provide 777 dwellings together with retail, community and leisure uses, set around a new urban park.

Eight-storey apartment buildings in brickwork line the perimeter facing the street and five-storey white rendered villa buildings face the park. The intimate garden courtyards incorporate high quality landscaping and play space and maximise views and pedestrian routes across the site to the park and the river.
