ARNOLD HOUSE SCHOOL

Westminster, London

In 1996, the Independent Schools’ Joint Council conducted an inspection of Arnold House School and made recommendations for improvements. As a consequence, the Governors of the School commissioned Allies and Morrison to explore possible options to address the problems.

The principal areas of concern identified were separated into three main categories: entrance, orientation and accommodation. The completed scheme unified the three existing school buildings, created a new shared entrance space, clarified the circulation and provided new and improved accommodation.
