Simon French

Director

Simon brings considerable experience, working on some of the practice's largest housing schemes and contributed to a wide range of projects at Allies and Morrison, from large scale transport infrastructure to high value cultural buildings.

In our high-density housing work, Simon has focused on the technical development of our design ideas and their successful delivery on site. A particular example is Aldgate Place, a complex scheme at Whitechapel, east London where residential tall buildings, a hotel and new routes make an important contribution to improving the neighbourhood at street level. He has worked on earlier schemes at Barrier Park East and St Andrew's, Bromley-by-Bow.

Simon is currently involved in the first two phases of Hale Wharf, which will deliver more than 500 new homes on a slender 1.9-ha island site; and Millbrook Park, a two block residential development comprising a mix of tenures arranged around a landscaped courtyard in Mill Hill, North London.

An early adopter of BIM, Simon has been at the forefront of our embrace of the technology. He studied at London Southbank University and the Bartlett.
