Sean Joyce

Sean studied BSc Architecture at Queen’s University, Belfast, going on to do his Postgraduate Diploma and Masters at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow and obtained his professional diploma at University College Dublin and the RIAI. Sean was awarded the Urban Design Award, SIX Awards in 2008 for his masters thesis on urban design. He joined Allies and Morrison in 2011 after working and teaching in Ireland, Austria and Scotland.

Sean is a key member of the design team for the Hollandgreen project, a high-end residential development sited beside the new Design Museum in Kensington. He is leading the design of the external envelope for the residential and museum buildings through the scheme. Sean is also the Resident architect on site responsible for contractor co-ordination, site inspection and ensuring delivery of the design intent on site.

Sean previously worked as Project Architect for the reconfiguration of the existing Eid prayer ground in Doha, Qatar.
