Nathan trained at Cambridge University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Kingston University. He was a Director of 5th Studio before joining Allies and Morrison in early 2015.
Nathan is a hands-on designer with a wide-range of experience, encompassing a spectrum of architectural and urban design projects which span from large-scale urban design strategies to the design of new public spaces and a range of building typologies. Nathan has also developed strong leadership and management skills, having been responsible for establishing and directing 5th Studio’s London office.
Since joining the Practice Nathan has been involved in a number of feasibility studies including a mixed-use development at the junction of Southwark Bridge Road and Southwark Street, and a major new office building in the City. He is also a senior member of the design team for Lavington Street, a re-development of key Bankside opportunity site comprising an ensemble of residential and commercial buildings set within a new public realm framework.
Nathan is an experienced studio tutor having previously taught at Cambridge University, London Metropolitan University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
