Mark Foster

Director

Mark works across many of our largest projects with a particular focus on technical design and external envelopes. He has extensive experience through all project stages, from inception to completion. His interest in cladding lies both in the technical aspect of its design and in the art and scale involved in its composition, forming one of the most important aesthetic elements of a building.

He is currently leading the external envelope for each building within our new cultural and education quarter at Stratford Waterfront, on the edge of the Queen Elizabeth Park in East London. He is also directing the technical design for the new School of Public Health at Imperial College London, as well as one of the first buildings to be developed within our Canada Water masterplan.

Mark led the cladding package on 100 Bishopsgate, a 40-storey tower, in the City of London, and played a key role in our work delivering the NM Rothschild Bank Headquarters. He led on the external envelope for the award-winning Maurice Wohl Clinical Neuroscience Institute at the King's College Denmark Hill campus, and at King's Cross, he was a key member of our team delivering the Aga Khan Centre.

Mark joined us in 2005 and trained at Canterbury School of Architecture and the University of Westminster.
