Jonathan Stern

Associate Director

Jonathan’s desire to create a communicative architecture that has a basis in sensible construction drew him to work at Allies and Morrison. His interest in architecture arose out of an early love for making things and unsurprisingly, his favourite part of the studio is around the small tables on each floor, intended for informal discussion and collaboration.

Involved in a range of projects from a small arts gallery to an ensemble of residential buildings on Worthing seafront, to a new mixed-use building in Paddington, Jonathan enjoys working at a variety of scales and regularly leads projects through all design stages from concept to completion.

Jonathan is an active participant in studio life, from working with Part III students, to championing the role of design. A native Londoner, he studied at the University of Manchester, Cass School of Architecture and Westminster University.
