Helena Gomes

Helena graduated from the University of Porto before joining Allies and Morrison in 2007.

Since joining the practice, Helena has worked on a range of project types including residential, commercial, masterplanning and infrastructure.

Helena’s design capabilities have been utilised at the concept stages of architectural competitions for residential developments, a private residence and infrastructure projects. She was involved in the design and construction of a number of permanent and temporary bridges and infrastructure for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Legacy Masterplan. Her role involved the concept design of the pedestrian and cycle Lea Navigation Bridges, and continued through the tender proposals to an on-site monitoring role throughout the construction phase.

Most recently, Helena has been project architect for Thornsett Road, the new office headquarters for Banham Group. She has been involved with the project since the initial concept design, and has guided the project through the planning process up until its recent completion on site.
