George Bister

George joined Allies and Morrison in 2007 after completing her degree in Architecture and Planning at The University West of England where she received the RIBA Bristol Civic Society award for her final year design project. While completing her Part II at London Metropolitan University, George worked on the Olympic Park masterplan involved in in the project from feasibility to completion. Qualifying as an Architect from the University of Westminster in 2014 George became an Associate of the practice in 2017.

George has extensive experience working on a variety of projects across all stages of design and delivery, and has a considerable knowledge and understanding of materials and finishing. In her role leading the internal design of Two Fifty One, a residential and office project in central London, George demonstrated her ability to interact confidently and clearly with the client team throughout design and construction.

Most recently George led our team as Project Architect on a central London mixed-use high rise project and is also working collaboration with Gort Scott Architects on the Harrow New Civic project.

George pursues her passion for Architecture both in and out of the studio. In 2015 she was part of a team who were shortlisted as finalists in the Hauser and Wirth young architect competition to design and build an artist’s studio in Somerset.

As a member of the housing and interiors technical teams George contributes positively to the widening knowledge of the practice.
