Chris Schulte

Associate Director

As an architect and urban designer, Chris plays an important role in shaping our masterplans. He specialises in complex urban projects and is motivated by a desire to bring positive change to the environments in which we live.

With extensive experience in large-scale urban design, public realm and infrastructure projects he has worked on masterplans for Bath Quays North, Bristol Arena Island and led various workstreams for the London 2012 Olympic and Legacy masterplans. Chris sits on design review panels for Transport for London, Design South East and the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. He has lectured at the Bartlett, the AA, Cambridge and the University of Nottingham.

Having grown up in the US, Chris enjoys London’s inclusive environment which in his opinion, invites anyone to become a ‘Londoner’. Perhaps that explains why his favourite part of the studio is our ground floor reception space, which feels like it forms part of the street. Chris studied architecture at Columbia University, University of Cambridge and the Architectural Association. He is a core member of the practice’s Masterplanning Group.
