Andrew Dean

Andrew trained at Manchester Metropolitan University. He joined Allies and Morrison in 2000 and became a Director of the practice in 2012.

Andrew was Project Architect on the Faculty of English, a bespoke faculty building for Cambridge University and was central to the development of the building’s drama studio interior, collaborating with the building’s users on all of the interior detail. He was also Project Architect for the Royal Observatory Greenwich, playing a key role in solving highly complex technical challenges.

More recently, Andrew has worked with OMA, leading a team of architects to deliver the New Court Rothchilds Bank, a bespoke office building in the City of London. He also led the recently completed extension to Allies and Morrison’s Studios, Farnham Place, which combined the extensive refurbishment of an existing listed warehouse and the construction of a new building.

Currently, Andrew is Project Director on Two Fifty One, a 41-storey residential tower and adjacent 8-storey commercial building located north of Elephant and Castle.
