Alice Raggett

Alice has an undergraduate degree in Geography from Durham University and postgraduate Urban Design and Planning qualifications. She joined Allies and Morrison in 2012.

Alice brings expertise in strategic projects, combining skills in research, planning and urban design. She also has experience in stakeholder and community engagement including large scale consultation events and informal market-stall and pop-up events.

Alice’s experience ranges from Supplementary Planning Documents, smaller scale site briefs and masterplanning through to town-wide characterisation, visioning publications and research projects. Alice recently managed a Town Centre masterplan for Bishop’s Stortford which sets out a deliverable development framework for key sites in the town centre, sensitively extending the retail core. This project involved collaborative working with private and public stakeholders to identify strategic planning guidance and a masterplan framework for the area.

She has also worked on a number of research and characterisation projects including the Barking and Dagenham Characterisation Strategy and Hackney Characterisation projects. These studies have involved exploring the physical, social, functional and historic evolution of these boroughs in order to better understand what determines and contributes to local character, to inform future growth.
