Alice Strang

Associate Director

Alice is motivated by the opportunity to make places better and has a keen interest in how the planning profession can enhance the existing character and identity of town-centres. Her versatile portfolio reflects her dual qualifications and has ranged from the delivery of a suite of influential strategies over recent years including the masterplan and vision for Mansfield town centre, Watford town centre strategy, and context- led design guidance for London Borough of Merton and London Borough of Havering; to working with clients such as Imperial College on stakeholder engagement, a field where she has pioneered the use of ESRI GIS StoryMap.

She is a regular contributor to the quarterly Urban Design Journal and as an RTPI Ambassador, works with groups of all ages to discuss and inspire interest in careers in the built environment.

A chartered town planner, Alice has a degree in Geography from Durham University and post graduate qualifications in urban design and planning.
